Today I have for you a review of a Nails Inc polish called Bruton Street.  I believe that Nails Inc names their nail polish after streets in London.  A Google street view of Bruton Street, London and I can see things like Hermes, Burberry and  Stella McCartney (boy do I want to go to London).  This alone gives me the impression that this is a sophisticated varnish suitable for this street and shops.  Let’s take a look at the pictures.

2 coats of Nails Inc – Bruton Street topped with Cult Nails Wicked Hard:

This is a simple dusk pink/mauve creme.  The formula on this was really great.  I thought it was going to need 3 coats but 2 was more than enough.  This is another example of a great work appropriate nail polish.  This also reminds me of spring flowers and would be great to use for some nail art.

I bought this at Sephora on sale for $5 CDN however I can’t find it on the Sephora website anymore.  I do however see it on the Nails Inc Website here.

What do you think?  Have you used Nails Inc before?  Do you wear colours like this in the fall or only stick to dark colours.

Lauren

***Don’t forget to vote in the poll on the side.  I want to know what your favourite nail polish brand is so I can make sure I’m showing you guys what you want to see. 🙂

I have a thing for blue… and things sparkly. So when I was at Sephora with Lauren on Friday, and I saw that the crystal top nails inc polishes were on clearance, I picked up all my lemmings. One of which was nails inc. baker street. WOW what a beautiful blue!! It just POPS from your nails.

I LOVE THIS COLOUR! It is so beautiful, and applied like a dream! This is 2 coats of nails inc. baker street, 1 coat of OPI DS Top Coat, and 1 coat of Seche Vite.

About a month ago I posted a review of OPI Vodka & Caviar.  Check it out here if you haven’t yet!  Anyways, I wanted to do a comparison since I own a few polishes that looked similar to it and I wanted to see if I had any dupes.  For comparison purposes I will be reviewing OPI Vodka & Caviar, Essie First Dance, Zoya Sooki and Nails Inc Charging Cross.

Bottle shots:

First up is Nails Inc Charging Cross.  This polish was released for the Fall 2011 Collection.  Index to Pinky:  Nails Inc. Charging Cross, OPI Vodka & Caviar, Nails Inc. CC and OPI V&C

They are similar however the Nails Inc leans a little more orange and not necessarily a true red when right beside OPI V&C.

Next up is Zoya Sooki.  This is a very popular colour for the ladies on MUA and I often see it listed as a go-to red.  This was released in 2011 in the Summertime Collection.  Index to Pinky:  Zoya Sooki, OPI Vodka & Caviar, Zoya Sooki and OPI V&C.

Zoya Sooki has the same kind of colouring as Nails Inc Charging Cross.  It leans a little orange when it is up against OPI V&C.  This isn’t a dupe either.

Finally we have Essie First Dance from their Wedding 2011 Collection. (2011 was very popular year for red nail polish!)  Index to Pinky:  Essie First Dance, OPI Vodka & Caviar, Essie First Dance and OPI V&C.

The colours are really similar and I’m calling them dupes.  When I was painting them I had to put the bottles in front of my fingers so I could remember which finger had which polish on it.  Unless you are crazy for red I don’t think you need to have both in your collection. I prefer OPI’s ProWide brush and you get a little more with OPI however Essie has a really good formula and is still available online.
